Slipknot

Una banda principalmente nombrada como "una banda de nu metal", por el uso de técnicas de rapeos por el vocalista Corey Taylor, e instrumentos electrónicos como es la mesa de mezcla y el sampler, pero incluyendo influencias en muchas de sus temas, géneros como el death metal, thrash metal, e incluso heavi metal. Formada en el año de 1995 en Des Moines, Iowa, en los Estados Unidos. Desde el año 1999 hasta el año 2010 mantuvo su formación más exitosa después de varios cambios en la banda, entre esos cambios se encuentra el fallecimiento del bajista Paul Gray, la cual fue la principal causa de la inactividad discográfica de la banda por un largo periodo, la banda es conocida por las máscaras de cada uno de sus miembros...

Actual formación de la banda, Corey Taylor (vocalista), Mick Thomson (guitarrista), Jim Root (guitarrista), Craig Jones (sampler y teclados), Sid Wilson (DJ y mesa de mezcla), Shawn Crahan (percusiones y coros), Chris Fehn (percusiones y coros), y por ultimo son miembros que según las entrevistas y posiblemente no son oficiales o son temporales que son Alessandro Venturella (bajista), Jay Weinberg (baterista)...

Bullet For My Valentine

Banda de heavy metal con rasgos de metalcore, con origen de Bridgend, Gales. La banda se fundo originalmente con el  nombre de (Jeff Killed John) en el año 1998, tocando inicialmente covers y versionando temas de Metallica y Nirvana. Bandas que son influencias para esta esta banda, incluyendo a Iron Maiden, Pantera, Megadeth entre otros. Llegaron a grabar 6 canciones que nunca salieron a la luz o nunca fueron publicadas, pero dos de ellas fueron reeditadas para posteriores trabajos de la banda. Tubieron dificultades economicas en las cuales fueron unas de las causas en las que marcaron la dirección de su música y en el nombre actual de la banda que fue cambiado a como los conocemos hoy en dia como son (Bullet For My Valentine).

Banda de death metal melódico, aunque en varias entrevistas, ellos se denominan como una banda de metal...su origen de la ciudad de (Halmstad - Suecia...)
Formada en el año de 1996 por el guitarrista Michael Amott, junto al vocalista Johan Liiva...
sus inicios exploraron géneros como el death metal, pero con el pasar de los años fueron evolucionando musicalmente, esto debido al cambio de integrantes que tuvo, cambio de vocalistas y guitarristas rítmicos, siendo así un death metal más melódico, que es su estilo en la actualidad.
Sus letras hablan de rebelión y en algunas ocasiones suelen criticar a la sociedad y a la religión.
La banda fue liderada por el vocalista Johan Liiva, hasta que en el año 2001 la vocalista Angela Gossow se unió a la banda, dejando la banda en el año 2014, y remplazada por la vocalista Alissa White-Gluz, exvocalista de The Agonist...
